The position is a rare opportunity for the right candidate who has leaderships qualities and skills and experience in Eldercare. You will be working on shift as the nurse in charge as well as having supernumary hours to complete your aditional duties such as audits, staff supervision and resident reviews.
You will work closely with the Registered Manager and the Head of Care and be supported by the nursing and care teams. You will be expected to demonstrate high standards of care which is expected from all members of the team and be organised in managing your workload. You must be experienced and skilled in writing and reviewing care plans in a detailed and person centred way looking at at needs holistically.
Up to date qualifications in Syringe driver training, fitting catheters, verification of death, venepuncture and wound care & management are benificial, but training can be provided where required.
